IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services. It comes under Civil Services of India Government. UPSC conducts Civil Services examination every year for different services like IAS, IPS, IRS, IFS etc. The eligibility criteria for Civil Services examination:

>>Candidate must have done bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year graduation candidates can also apply for this examination.

>>The age limit for general category candidate is 21-32 years. Three years upper age relaxation to OBC candidate and five years to SC/ST candidate.

Number of attempts:

There are at present six attempts for general candidate, nine for OBC and no limit till upper age limit for SC/ST candidate.

You will be eligible to apply for this examination in final year of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering.

Civil Service examination is conducted by UPSC every year. The examination is conducted for recruitment as an Officer in I.A.S, I.P.S, I.F.S etc.

The eligibility to appear for examination is candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. The age limit to appear for examination is 21-32 years with relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category.

There is no special relaxation for students in age limit to appear for examination. So, you have to wait till completion of bachelor degree to appear for examination.

There is upper age relaxation for Other Backward category candidates and Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates. OBC candidates get upper age relaxation of three years and SC/ST candidates get upper age relaxation of five years.

In case of open category candidate, there is no upper age relaxation, it is 21-32 years.

Educational qualification is bachelor's degree. If you are graduate or in final year of graduation, you are eligible to apply for this examination.
