Re: What type of qualification is required to become IAS Officer?
>> First of all you need to know about the eligibility criteria for the IPS(IAS) exam. This will clear most of your doubts.
1) Graduate. 2) Minimum age should be at least 21 years. 3) Indian citizenship >> Now since you haven't mentioned about any graduation course so i suppose that you have just passed your intermediate and so you have to do graduation in any of the discipline, then only you will be eligible to apply for the examination. >> So you have a sufficient amount of time for your preparation. For now, my advise would be that, you stay up to date with the social events and make an habit of reading newspapers and news. Discuss different sort of facts with your friends, this will help you to retain what you have read. >>Regarding the course, if you are totally devoted towards IAS, then take any B.sc Course. Also, by the way you have mentioned your height, it seems you have a doubt about the height criteria. So, for that i need to tell you that there is no such criteria and the only eligibility criteria which you need to keep in ind is mentioned above. |
