Eligibility criteria to give supplementary or compartmental exam?


If I will be failed in chemistry exam of cbse class 12th board, then can I give the supplementary or compartmental exam? What is the criteria?

If you are failed in a particular subject in CBSE board, then you can apply for Compartment Subject for that particular subject.

For this you will have to pay the requisite fee for that subject.

Also, you will have to fill up the required form in CBSE Regional office or in your school itself.

Note that, if you are failed in more than two subjects then you will be considered fail candidate.

And, in this condition you will have to appear for all subjects.

Hence, you can apply for Compartment Exam for only 1 or 2 subjects.

I have a back exam in 2nd year and i take one more chance after the complete my graduation. I had one sub back in 2nd year. Can i apply in supplementary exam now?
