Well, after 12th standard you can join Indian Navy through NDA(National Defence Academy) Entrance exam conducted by Union public Service Commission(UPSC) of India. NDA exam occurs two times in a year generally as NDA I & NDA II. NDA doesn't ask for any certain percentage of marks.

-Only unmarried Male candidates appears in this Exam.



Basic eligibility conditions for NDA Entrance exam:

• You should have passed 12th standard from State board or recognized school.
  
• There is no percentage limit mentioned for this exam.
  
• If you are appearing in 12th then you can also apply.
  
• Your age must be between 16.5 to 19 year.
  
• You must be citizen of India.

Physical Requirements necessary for NDA

For NDA I-

• Notification Announced : 31/12/2011
  
• Last date to apply : 30/01/2012
  
• Examination date : 15/04/2012.

For NDA II-

• Date of Notification : 05/05/2012
  
• Last Date of Submission of Application form : 04/06/2012
  
• Commencement of Examination : 19/08/2012

Pattern of NDA Entrance Test

There will be written Examination for total of 900 marks in two Subjects

1. Mathematics - Maximum marks is 300 and the duration of the test is 2.5 Hrs.
2. General Ability Test - Maximum marks is 600 and the duration of the test is 2.5 Hrs.

The papers in both the subjects will consist of objective type questions only.

If you want to join Indian Navy after your 12th class through NDA Examination.But in your 12th class with science stream you are eligible to apply for Indian Navy.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy.NDA Examination are conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year.

NDA Examination is conducted in 3 wings:

• Indian Air Force
• Indian Navy
• Indian Army

After 12th or after graduation you can join Indian Navy.As you are a diploma graduate then you are also very much eligible for Indian Navy.See you have to take information from different newspapers and websites when the vacancies of Navy will come and according to this you can apply.

You can also apply for NDA. There generally two examination are held for NDA, one is NDA-1 and another is NDA-2.You can also attempt both this two exam.

SORRY ,YOU CANNOT JOIN INDIAN AIR FORCE JUST AFTER COMPLETING 10 STANDARD..FOR JOINING INDIAN AIRFORCE YOU MUST BE 12 PASSED FOR ANY ENTRY IN AIRFORCE..

THE MINIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATION FOR JOINING INDIAN AIRFORCE IS 12 TH CLASS. AFTER 12TH CLASS THERE ARE TWO ENTRIES FOR JOINING AIRFORCE

If a candidate have completed 12th with compart he will be eligible for applying in airforce, navy, NDA examination or not

somebody told me if u have got above 80% in 12th class than u will not face writtern test..,so plz suggest me about it

can't girls apply for nda?
