Hello Friend,
To become IAS Officer you will have to pass Civil Services Exam which is conducted every year by UPSC.
The Eligibility for Civil Services is:
1. Graduation in any discipline
2. Age Limit: 21-30 Years.
Please visit www.upsc.gov.in for more details.
There are no specific subject that one should know to become IAS Officer. All you need is to pass UPSC CSE with very good marks and for that you must have good command over your optional subjects and also good knowledge of GS and Current Affairs.
For optional subjects you can choose any two subjects in which you are good and easy to understand and in which you have interest.
Good Luck.

I am an engineering graduate. I met an accident of my right hand about 12 years ago, in which I lost my index finger finger & Thumb. However, I have been operated upon for my thumb (toe-transfer). And since then I have no difficulties in any aspects of life. I have been riding motorcycle and driving cars for about 6 years now. I have a good physique. I can do all the regular work. Can I still fit into the selection criteria of IAS, if I do qualify in the IAS exams ???
