Which is the exam we need to clear for becoming a lecturer? Where and how to apply for the exam? Can you please let me know what is the syllabus followed for the same? Is it possible for me to get the job or not? What would be the minimum qualification required for the same?

NET is the National Eligibility Test for Lecturership.You should have to apply for NET for Lecturership.Minimum qualification is post-graduation to apply for NET.NET is conducted twice a year in the month of June and December.

You must have passed Master Degree with atleast 55% from recognized university

Age Limit

For JRF : Max. Age Limit is 28 years on 1st July of the examination year
For Lecturership : No Age Limit

Paper I
- Total Questions : 60
- Total 50 questions to be attended
- Total Marks : 100

- Total Questions : 75
- Total Marks : 150
- Time Duration : 75 Min

Qualification Required:-You need to have Post Graduate degree in desire field.You must need to have minimum 55% marks in Post graduation for general category/OBC & 50% for Sc category candidates.Relaxation in percentage of marks up to 5% for Sc category candidates.

There is no age limit for becoming lecturer in college.

If you apply for JRF exam then the age limit is maximum 28 years.

You have also qualified in PhD. to become lecturer in any university.
