yes you are eligible to apply for the railway engineering exam.. for these you can write SCRA exam.. some of the basic requirements are as follows.. --u must be the citizen of india.. --the age limit is 17 years.. --for the SC,ST CANDIDATES 5 years relaxation is there for them.. --most importantly u must be physically fit.. for the date and the books for reference u can log in to www.highereducationinindiacom/jobs-entrance/scra-exam-eligibility.php hope these helps you.. and all the best for it.. |

for these you can write SCRA exam.. some of the basic requirements are as follows.. you must be the citizen of india.. the age limit is 21 years.. for the SC,ST CANDIDATES 5 years relaxation is there for them.. most importantly u must be physically fit.. syllabus- books of physics, chemistry and maths of 11th and 2th class general ability test- history, civics, geograhy and english grammer. of class 6 to 10. thanks |

To join in Indian railways, you can appear for Special Class Railway Apprentice examination(S.C.R.A.) which is conducted by U.P.S.C.
ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:- CANDIDATE MUST HAVE PASSED INTERMEDIATE EXAM/EQUIVALENT WITH FIRST/SECOND CLASS FROM RECOGNIZED BOARD. CANDIDATE MUST HAVE STUDIED MATHEMATICS & AT LEAST ONE SUBJECT FORM PHYSICS/CHEMISTRY IN INTERMEDIATE LEVEL. AGE LIMIT IS 17-21 YEARS. TO APPEAR IN THE EXAM THE MINIMUM AGE REQUIRED IS 17 YEARS & CANDIDATES MUST NOT ATTAIN 21 YEARS OF AGE. UPPER AGE LIMIT IS RELAXED FOR SC/ST , OBC CANDIDATES. FOR SC/ST- 5 YEARS OF AGE RELAXATION & FOR O.B.C. CANDIDATES- 3 YEARS OF UPPER AGE RELAXATION IS AVAILABLE. CANDIDATE MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT. CANDIDATE MUST BE INDIAN CITIZEN. TYPES OF QUESTIONS ASKED :- THE QUESTIONS ARE MAINLY ASKED FROM GENERAL ABILITY. IN GENERAL ABILITY , THEY WILL ASK YOU ENGLISH LANGUAGE & ANALYTICAL ABILITY TYPE OF QUESTIONS.
