thankyou,
To become IAS Officer you have to complete your Graduation degree course first and when you have completed your Graduation in any discipline then you are eligible to apply for CSE(Civil services examination). This examination is conducted by UPSC, two times in a year and for this examination your age should between 21 to 30 years. upper age relaxation is applicable for sc/st/obc candidates.

If you have fulfill the above mentioned criteria then only you are eligible for Civil services examination.

Examination is conducted in two stages, i.e preliminary examination and main examination.

But first you have to cracked the preliminary examination, this examination have two objective papers and if you cracked this then you are eligible for Mains, the examination is not easy, the selection rate is very less as compared to other Indian examination.

Lots of hard work and preparation is needed to cracked this examination.

You will get limited attempts in this examination as per your category, Four attempts for open, seven for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs. If a person appears in the Preliminary Examination or even one paper is counted as an attempt.

The notification is going to be published soon in the month of February next year, eligible candidates may fill the application form online from the official website, for more details you can check official website of UPSC.
