How to become IPS, ACP, CID?


I want to become IPS, ACP,CID, what i can do..Please tell me the details

IPS stands for indian police service.
IPS exam is conducted by upsc once in a year.
IPS EXAM ELIGIBILITY:-
>you must be graduate from a recognize[IMG]www.cid.tv/wp-content/themes/fireworks/images/cid-logo.png[/IMG]d university
>age limit is 21 to 30 years.
>you must be indian citizen.
CBI ELIGIBILITY:-
Qualifications:
1.You must completed degree with 60%
2.You must have 165 Cm height
3.Your age must be in between 21 to 30 years
Selection process:
1.Written exam
2.Technical round
3.Physical and Medical tests
4.Personal Interview
How to apply:
You can apply through post as
1.Buy an application form and fill it.
2.Then add your certificates to the application form
4.And then post it.
Syllabus for written exam:
1.Aptitude
2.GK
3.Current affairs
4.economics&history
4.mental ability

IPS -Indian Police Service. to become an IPS officer, one has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC once every year.

To be eligible for IPS Civil Service Exam, one must be an Indian national having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with good Physical Fitness.

The aspiring candidate for IPS should have minimumprescribed Physical Requairement such as:_

HEIGHT:-

General Male-165cm and Female-150cm while SC/ST Male-160cm and Female-145cm,

CHEST:-

Male-85cm while Female-79cm expandable to 5cm in both the cases.

The selection is through three phases:-

-CSAT - Civil Service Aptitude Test - Preliminary Exam

-Civil Service Main Exam

-Personal Interview

After selection of IPS through above mentioned three stages, the candidate has to undergone a training session after which a candidate has been posted as ACP(asst. Commissioner of Police) which is under IPS and accordingly one can be posted in CID.

You want to join the Indian police service (IPS) for serve the nation, which is really appreciable.
To join police service , for become a first grade officer, you must have to clear the CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION, through which one can apply for the Indian police & administrative service (IAS\IPS) .
This civil service examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

This civil service examination has three stages to be clear in a way of a IAS \ IPS aspirant,--:

1. CSAT (Civil Service Aptitude Test)
2. MAINS
3. INTERVIEW

Educational requirements --

graduation degree in any stream, but from a recognized college.

Age limit--

IPS is one of the most well recognized post in the government sector job. It comes with the huge responsibility also. IPS stands for the Indian Police Service. IPS officer is mainly belongs to the central government employee but they can work under the state government also.

The IPS officer mainly starts his career form the assistant superintendent of police and then he can rank up to the directer general of police. he can also join the CBI, BSF, RPF etc. It depends in which section is is posted by the government as per the vacancy.

So as you want to become the IPS officer so you have to seat for the IPS exam conducted by the UPSC board. It is organized by then every year. You have to look or keep eye on the UPSC site for the publication of the post.

The eligibility criteria for the IPS exam is given here.

1.candidate have to pass the 10th 12th with min 60% marks form the recognized university sc/st candidate get education qualification of 5%.
2.Candidate have to pass the graduation from a recognized university with min 60% marks .
3.Candidate must have indian citizen.
4.Age must be between 21 to 30 years. Age relaxation available for the sc/st for the 5 years obc 3 years ph for the 5 years.
5.Height for men 165cm and women 150, Chest for men 84 and women 79 cm with out expansion.
6.Eye vision 6/6 or 6/9 or 6/12 with or with out glass.

If you passed the entrance exam you have to face the interview for the final selection then after that you will send for the training and after the training you wil be posted on the various sector of the government of India.
