Civil Engineers can join the Indian Airforce through Combined Defense Services or Airforce Common Admission test.

Air Force Common Admission test:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or technology candidates can apply for this exam for different posts in technical branch or flying branch or ground duty branches.

It has two stages written test and Service Selection Board.

Age limit is 18-24 years for flying branch, 18-26 years for technical branch and 18-28 years for ground duty branch.

Combined Defense services:

This exam is conducted twice every year by UPSC.

Being a civil engineer, you can apply for this exam. The age limit for CDS for Indian Airforce is 19-23 years.
