The abbreviation of IPS is Indian Police Services. Not at all, you can't become an Indian Police Officer after passing only 12th standard. To become an Indian Police Officer, firstly you will have to finish your bachelor degree. The educational qualifications regarding with Indian Police Services exam are below mentioned:- # Candidates must have finished their bachelor degree in any curriculum from any approved institution. # Candidates of last year of bachelor degree are also preferable for this exam. # There is no need of percentage for this exam. To become IPS officer, Graduation is compulsory. Students after completing Graduation are eligible to become IPS Officers.
The selection procedure consists of Preliminary Exam Main Exam Interview This civil services exam is organized by UPSC. Age that is required for the candidates is 21-32 years for General category 21-35 years for OBC category 21-37 years for SC or ST category. So, you complete your Graduation first and then after completing Graduation apply for civil services exam to become IPS Officer. |
