I want to join indian navy so please tell me how can I join Indian Navy?
navy is my dream area.

You can get recruited in the Indian navy as an officer. You can also join after Nautical Engineer or Marine Engineering. You can become a sea farer by joining any pre - sea courses in any institute. Some of the institutes providing Pre-sea and Post-Sea training are Lal Bahadur Shastri College of advanced Maritime Studies and Research in Mumbai, Marine Engineering & Research Institute (MERI), Training Ship Chanakya in Navi Mumbai. The candidates can join Nautical science and Marine engineering course to join Indian Navy.

navy is my dream area and my passion.scored in PCM 41.33% in 12th
now i am doing BCA......plz tell me how can i join indian navy????????????????

The eligibility are
1)Age should be between 19.5 -25 yrs
2)Bsc with atleast 65%
3)Msc with atleast 55%
4)The height required should be atleast 157cms
5)The eye vision must be 6'6
6)You have to pass the MPSE and UPSE exams
7) You should be physically fit and your BMI should be normal

Hi friend
the minimum qualificaiton for join Indian Navy is 10+2 in PCM.
After 10+2, you can join Indian Navy as a officer but firstly you have to qualify the NDA exam which is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.
You can also join Navy in lower posts by passing conditions of SSR and AA etc.
After graduation in PCM, you can get the job in Indian Navy as a officer rank by qualifying the CDS exam which is also conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

for this NDA Examination some eligibility criteria are there

This Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission in yearly twice i.e.

NDA - II

NDA have three wings i.e.

Indian Air Force

Indian Army

Indian Navy

Required Eligibility Criteria for NDA EXamination

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have a 12th standard with PCM (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics) subjects from any recognized institution

There is no percentage required for this examination

Age Limit

Candidates age should between 16.5 years to 19 years

There is no age relaxation for this examination

Nationality

Candidates should be a citizen of India

Marital Status

Candidate should be a citizen of India

Physical Standard for NDA Examination

To join Indian navy after Passing Graduation , you can apply for the CDS exams

Eligibilty for the CDS exams is:

Education:
Indian Airforce- Graduation Pass with Physics and Mathematics as subjects in class 12th or BE/BTECH
Indian Navy - BE/BTECH
Indian Military Academy (IMA) - Graduation Pass in any Stream
Officers Training Academy (OTA) - Graduation Pass in any Stream

AGE LIMITS-
IMA- Between 19- 24 years
OTA Between 19- 25 years
NAVY - Between 19- 22 years
AIR FORCE - Between 19- 23 years

After 10+2 one can join Indian Navy through NDA & NA examination which is conducted by UPSC.

You must be 10+2 pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics then only you will be considered for Indian Navy.

Age should be between 16.5 to 19 years and you must be an unmarried male of India.

There is no percentage criteria mentioned for this examination means you can apply if you are just pass only.

Selection Procedure:

-Objective Type Paper

-SSB Interview

-Medical Examination

You must have good eyesight and good physical fitness for Indian Navy. If you are found unfit in medical then you will not be considered for the selection.

After Graduation one has option to apply for CDS exam for joining Indian Navy.

N.D.A -- NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY

<> The minimum age must be 16.5 years

<> Maximum age is allowed up to 19 years

<> Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for it

<> You must be Physically good



WITH THE DEGREE QUALIFICATION ::


<> You need to give the C..D..S exam .


C.D.S ---- COMBINED DEFENSE SERVICES

<> For that you must have a minimum of 19 years

<> Maximum age is allowed up to 24 years

<> With this entrance exam you can enter in to the INDIAN NAVY field

<> You must be an INDIAN citizen

<> You must not have any Backlogs
