[1] HI SIR,can I join MERCHANT NAVY AFTER 12th & HOW IS THE PROCEDURE?
[2] HOW IS THE PROCEDURE AFTER THE COURSE BTech.MARINE ?
[3] I HAVE COMPLETED 4years COURSE IN SCC & I HAVE A BIT KNOWLEDGE ABOUT SAILING
BOATS WITH SAILING EXPERIENCE OF 2 YEARS ?

After completing Intermediate there are basically two options to join Merchant Navy.
One is through B.sc in Nautical Science and other one is B.Tech in Marine Engineering.
1)B.SC in Nautical Science
It is a course after completing which one can join Merchant Navy,started after completing Intermediate,a three year course necessary to have studied Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics with 60% in Intermediate,Eyes should be normal,
physcal Fitness is necessary.It is a direct entry based on the Percentage and marks scored in Intermediate.
A costly course,course fees is nearly 7-8 lakh in all three year.

2)B.Tech in Marine Engineering
After completing Intermediate one can apply foe B.tech in Marine engineering
It is a four year course but unlike B.sc in nautical science have to rank well in a Engineering Entrance exam and based on the rank admission takes place.
The cost of the course is very high just like above course nearly 7-8 lakh in Four year.

These are two known entries for Merchant Navy after Intermediate,although there is another option after completing Mechanical Engineering one can join Merchant Navy but is little less popular.
