i m niraj kumar singh from bihar i m in graduation (geo-hon)part 1 i want to be an ips but sir i m the poor faimly as well as no any types facility avilable hare to prepare it how can i prepare it plse enfore m on my [email protected] plse reply me soon thanks |

IPS stands for Indian Police Service. This exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission every year. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Nationality: The candidate should be citizen of India. Educational Qualification: The candidate should complete the Graduation from any recognized University. The candidate not required the percentage for this exam. Final Year pursuing candidates are also eligible for this exam. Age limit: You should required age limit should be 21 to 30 years. The upper age relaxation is applicable for this exam. 3 years for OBc & 5 years for SC\ST. 10 years for PH. Gender: Both male & female candidates are eligible to become IPS officer. No of Attempts: 4 for General 7 for OBC No limit for SC\ST. SELECTION PROCESS: Preliminary Exam Main Exam Interview All the best............. |

IPS - Indian Police Service, to become an IPS officer one has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC once every year.
The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with good Physical Fitness. Apart from this the aspiring candidate for IPS should have minimum Physical requirement such as:- HEIGHT - General/OBC Male-165cm and Female-150cm while SC/ST Male-160cm and Female-145cm. CHEST - Male-84cm while Female-79cm expandable to 5cm in both the cases. To Become an IPS Officer you have to Crack Civil Services Examination.
Civil Services Examination is conducted by UPSC every year and if you have the qualifications and age then you are definitely eligible to apply for it. UPSC is Union Public Service Commission. Eligibility Criteria for Civil Services Examination: -Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University. -Should be an Indian Citizen -Age should be between 21 to 30 years if you are General Category candidate.There is age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category. Examination Pattern: -Civil Services Aptitude Test -Mains Examination -Interview -Medical Examination You must have the required physical and mental fitness then only you can become an IPS officer.
