Sir i am mani, studing aeronautical engineering . what is procdure to join indian airforce(flying branch) or navy

as you are doing graduation in aeronautics field ........you acn apply for IAF through UES entry in your college or by applying for CDS exam conducted every year.....

UES entry is for students for a college where the defense recruitment committee conduct seminar and screening ..... and those who qualify it are directly called for interview.......
for this your college should contact the defense ministries for conduction such placement exams....

for CDS exam you need be either a graduate or a final year student......you can get the whole information from the following link.......

HOW TO JOIN INDAN AIR FORCE

every year IAF conducts EKT i.e engineering knowledge test for engg. graduates for various departments,aeronautical engg is one of them.after clearing this exams you have to appear for SSB(security services board).this is quite tough.it includes phychological as well as physical test after that you will conformed for final selection.

then for this you have to give CDS exams, after clear the CDS exams you
can join IAF but you should physicall fit in all the respect, for more detail

after graduation: flying branch/ flying pilot
eligibility: unmarried indian citizen(men and women)
age limit: 19 to 23yrs
education: maths and physics at 10+2 is a must.. any graduate is elligible
selection process:
1. through CDSE exam after graduation or
2. NCC entry( only men with C certificate) or
3. SSC entry

after passing any of these rounds, candidates must appear for PABT( pilot aptitude Battery test) this has 2 stages.

will be notified in all leading newspaper

The only best way to join Indian air force after the completion of your degree is through university entry scheme . When you are entered through university entry scheme you will be called for SSB in which different levels of testing are performed when you have completed all the levels you wil be selected as an officer.

you can join in IAF flying branch after doing Aeronautical Engineering in two ways.

1.through UES. which exam you can appear in the final year of your btech.

2.through UPSC exam. which exam you can appear after doing your btech.

but to join in IAF minimum 60% marks in engineering is essentially required.

after doing aeronautical engineering you can appear in CDS,UES,EKT exams for IAF..

these exams are conducted by UPSC..

the criteria is , you must have complete your graduation, and your age should be less than 23 years..
