after finishing btech you apply for some technical posts in navy by undergoing nda

well man, u can apply from 4th year....for army u can apply from 3rd year in university entry scheme....u can apply in CDS/engineering branches/coast guard engineering corps/coast guard and navy aviation corps, all their advertisements come separately....the most coveted position is to be a NAVAL PILOT.

You can complete your b.tech then you can apply for nda jobs and more information is given as employnmemtnews paper.

you can get into navy by giving CDS exam after your b.tech get over.

hi iwanna tell u that u can join it y not thee will be exams conducted by govt like nda ,cds ,ssc & much more ok u will join it but ythere is 1 rstriction ok u have 2 join it after b.tech but ur branch should be mannered in this form ok if ur from mechanical then it posssibilty is gud ok

Dear there comes one form which is only for degree holders.
this form you can see either in newspaper like Times Of India or
one another method to get form is from your near by book store which provides all the competitive forms.

So contact your nearby book store as soon as possible for your navy form.

2.and also after your b.tech through the UPSC exam,you can join

but in this case you should have marks 60% in your graduation.

Entry Scheme in Indian Navy Service (INS) for Engineering Candidate

Technical/Engineering Department

UES: university entry scheme,is meant for all male and female candidates those who are in the final year of B.tech/B.E. Notification for it are released In Employment news. It has both Short Service Commission (SSC) and Permanent scheme.

Age Limit: 24 years.

SSC: short service commission,is ment for all male and female candidates those who have B.tech/M.tech (civil,mechanical,electronics,electronics & talecommunication,Aeronautical, marine, Naval Architect etc.) with atlest 60% aggregate including all semester.Notification for it are released In Employment news.

Age Limit: 25 years.

SNAES: Special Naval Architech Entry Scheme, are meant specially for B.Tech/B.E. Naval Architech Engineering.

Age Limit: 25 years.

Non-Technical/Executive

Direct Entry (NAI) : NAI = NAval armament Inspector, meant for B.Tech/B.E. Electronics, electrical and MEchanical or M.sc (Electronics, Physics) holders.

Age Limit: 25 years.

GSES: Graduate Special Entry Scheme, are meant for B.Tech/B.E. in various branches depending on requirement or B.sc (Mathematics, Physics). Conducted by UPSC.

NCC Special Entry: are meant for B.Tech/B.E. in various branches depending on requirement or B.sc (Mathematics, Physics) and candidate must also have NCC "C" certificate of Senior Carde.

Logistic Cadre: are meant for B.Tech/B.E. in various branches depending on requirement or B.sc (Mathematics, Physics), MCA, BCA (only for women) etc.

Age Limit: 27 years for MAster degree, 25 for bachelor dgree holder.

Yes, you can join the army and even you are eligible for technical stream.
You must appear for CDS exam or SSC (shot Service commision) which is conducted by UPSC each year twice.
You can even join army through University entry scheme

Hiiiiiiiiiii you can apply to navy with many ways keep checking fresherworld.com-DefenCe jobs section which publish different requirement..... which just need a degree.even they have entry with sports and NCC so you keep checking the website......ALL THE BEST.

The Indian Navy ( Bhāratīya Nau Senā) is the naval branch of the armed forces of India. The President of India serves as the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy.

The Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), usually a four-star officer in the rank of Admiral, commands the Navy.


first you need to search for the notification in the newspaper then apply for it

and your body must be fit like you should not smoke or drink ,mentally and physically you need to be fit .

qualification :

You must be between 19½ and 25 years or be born between July 1980 and January 1986 (both dates are inclusive).

You must have secured a first class at the graduation level with Physics and Mathematics as your subjects.

You could also hold a Masters of Science degree in Physics or Mathematics, with a minimum of 55 percent marks.

You could also have completed a BE or B Tech in any discipline with a first class.

You may also apply if you are a Science graduate in Physics and Mathematics, and hold an NCC Naval Wing, Senior Division 'C' certificate.

Physical Standards:

You must have a minimum height of 157 cm with correlated weight.

You must have the minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision -- 6/12, 12 correctable to 6/6 or 6/6 with glasses.

You must not have colour blindness or night blindness.

Selection process:

If shortlisted, you are likely to be detailed between February and June 2005 for Service Selection Board (SSB) interviews in Bangalore, Bhopal or Coimbatore.

The SSB interview will include Pychological Tests, Individual Tasks, Group Tasks, Group Discussions and Interview.


Training particulars :

If selected, your training is scheduled to commence in July.

You will be inducted as an officer in the rank of Sub Lieutenant.

You will be inducted through a Naval Orientation Course at the Naval Academy, Goa.

You will be professionally trained at various Naval Training Establishments, Units and Ships.

You will be eligible for full pay and allowances as an officer in training.

You will be on probation for two years.

Pay scales

As a Sub Lieutenant, you will be paid between Rs 8,250 and Rs 10,050.

As a Lieutenant, you will be paid between Rs 10,000 and Rs 11,400.

As a Lieutenant Commander, you will be paid between Rs 12,800 and Rs 16,050.

Please include details of qualification, percentage and your NCC certificate, if applicable.

you can join NAVY through CDS exam.

CDS means combined defense services.

Eligibility:-
