hi,

you can write the IIT-JEE-2010 because you are fulfilling all the conditions like:

you should have scored more than 60% in 12th

and have not attempted for two times after completion of 12th in consecutive two years.

but there may arise some problems due to that drop that you took after 10th,for that you can talk to IIT-JEE authorities for clarification:

Chairman, JEE, IIT Roorkee, Roorkee 247 667

You can attempt IIT JEE exam only twice, in consecutive years. That means if you should have attempted JEE for the first time in 2010 or will be appearing in 2011.

How many attempts are allowed in IIT JEE.

IIT JEE is the most famous entrance examination among the student who
are preparing for the admission in the engineering course. The number
of seat in IITs college is limited and a large number of aspirants appear
in the examination every year so the competition becomes really hard.

According to eligibility criteria for IIT JEE any student can appear in the
IIT JEE only two times once in the appearing in 12th std. and other after
just next year.

Example :- If you pass the 12th std. exam in the year 2010 then you
can appear in the IIT JEE in 2010 and in 2011. You can not appear in
the year 2012.

For complete information regarding IIT JEE examination please see the
official website of IIT.

You are allowed to attempt JEE twice only, that too in consecutive attempts only.
Eligibility for IIT jee is above 60% aggregate in 12th.
You can also appear for this exam while you are in 12th.

Only 2 attempts are permissible and that too in consecutive years. Also you should get more than 60% in aggregate in 12th for general & obc and 55% in sc, st & pd.

IIT provides only two attempts for the candidates appearing for IIT JEE. These two chances are exclusively the years when you appear for your board exam and the year next two it.

If you have missed your one chance without appearing for the exam, then you are left with only one chance.

You have scored good enough in your board exams to appear for the IIT JEE exam. The minimum requirement is 60%. Below this you are not allowed to appear for the exam.

So, good luck for your last chance and work hard because this is the only chance you have got.

There are two attempts for every student in IIT exam one is with xii th and one is after it. you did not give the exam of IIT JEE with xii th so now you have only one attempt left. you have to crack IIT in this attempt otherwise there is no chance for you to enter in any IIT for Bachelor degree.

Hey

IIT grants only 2 attempts and they have to be successive.

So since you have not sit for the board year, you have two attempts left, but now once you sit, the next attempt would be a compulsion.

So talk to the authorities about your 10th class drop, otherwise eveything else for you is fine to sit for JEE.

Good luck

You are allowed to attempt JEE twice only, that too in consecutive attempts only.So it is advisable to you not to waste your years & can only appear for the same when you have a full confidence in yourself & well prepared too.

Eligibility for IIT jee is as under-
1. Your marks will be above 60% aggregate in class 12th.

2. You can also appear for this exam while you are in 12th.

hi dear,
How many attempts are allowed in IIT JEE.
