GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering


If you have Bachelor degree in engineering/Technology/Architecture OR Master degree holder in any branch of science/mathematics/statics/computer application then you are eligible for GATE Exam.

Final years students also eligible for gate exam....

Note :- There is no age limit or restriction on number of attempts for appearing in GATE..

Citizenship of India....

This exam is conduct for mainly in M-Tech admission in various college in India .

But recently GATE score is accept for -

PHD Admission .
JRF and SRF Post
PSU Direct Interview.

So GATE score is valuable for all engineers,

The eligibility criteria for GATE Exam: -

If you have Bachelor degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture then you are applicable for GATE Exam.

OR

If you have Master degree in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent ,then you are applicable for GATE Exam .

The GATE examination consists of a single paper of 3 hours time. The question paper consists of only objective type questions. Each question will have four choices for the answer. Only one choice is correct.

The New Pattern for GATE exam exam of 2014 is given below -



The other Information for GATE Exam:-

1) There is no Age criteria.

2)No marks criteria .

3)Unlimited Attempts

The abbreviation of GATE is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.





Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is organized for those candidates who wish to taking admission in various colleges for M.Tech.


The educational qualifications regarding with Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering are below mentioned:-

# Candidates must have finished their bachelor degree in Architecture/Engineering/Technology from any approved institution.

# Candidates must have finished their master degree in Science/Statistics/Mathematics/Computer Applications from any approved institution.

# Candidates of last year of bachelor or master degree are also preferable for this exam.

# Citizenship:- Must be Indian.

# Age criteria:- Not assumed.

# No. of attempts:- Not assumed.
