You can acheive it in one year or may be at the Third year or at Fifth year.

Hi,
it purely depends on you and your effort.you get passed it in first chance or in the last attempt.try to give your best in the IAS exam.for that prepare well,attend coaching classes,attend mock interviews,improve communication skills,read three or four newspapers a day,build up a good,attracting personality and attitude.
