You have to appear for UPSC Civil services exam so as to apply for IAS post. Minimum age limit for this position is 21 years. Higher age limit is 30 years. It requires a high level of preparation so as to attend this exam as this is a highly competitive examination. It is better to join some coaching institutes as part of your preparation. You can practice model question papers. Also try to keep updated about current events which will form an important part of this exam.
