If you want to become a IAS officer, First you can crack the Civil Examination which is conducted by UPSC Appearing for this Civil Examination you must and should satisfy some eligibilities which is required for Civil Examination About Civil Examination Civil Examination is conducted by UPSC ( Union Public Service Commission ) in yearly ones Eligibility Criteria for Civil Examination Educational Qualification Candidates must have a bachelor of degree in any stream from any recognized university Final year appeared students also eligible for this examination There is no percentage required for this examination Age Limit Candidates age should between 21 years to 30 years for general candidates 5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates 3 years relaxation for OBC candidates Nationality Candidates should be a citizen of India Selection Procedure ** Preliminary Examination ** Mains Examination ** Interview test No.of Attempts max 4 attempts for General candidate 7 for OBC candidates No limit for SC/ST candidates Physical Standards see the sample notification of Civil Examination |

IAS - Indian Administrative Service, to become an IAS officer, one hasto apply, appear and crack Civil service Exam conducted by UPSC every year.
The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. As your are pursing BCA(Bachelor of Computer Application) after completion of which you can apply for Civil Service Exam. The selection is through three phases:- -CSAT - Civil Service Aptitude Test - Preliminary Exam comprises of objective type questions. -Civil Service Main Exam comprises of subjective type questions -Personal Interview. Eligibility Criteria For IAS: • Age limits - The candidate must have completed 21 years of age as on 1 july and should not be more than 30 years. Some relaxation will be given in the upper age limit for the SC/ST/OBC candidates. • Educational Qualifications - The candidate must have completed bachelor degree from a recognized university. yes , you are eligible for apply IAS exam with BCA because BCA is a one of the Graduation course

IAS- Indian administrative Services UPSC - Union Public Service Commission conducts CSAT - Civil Services Aptitude Test for IAS Eligibility criteria for CSAT- 1. Candidate should be of Indian origin. 2- Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university (final year students can also apply, provided that they have a valid degree at the time of admission) 3- Age - 21-30 years. There are three stages of this exam - 1- Preliminary exam 2- Main exam 3- Interview The examination is conducted in two stages: 1.Civil Services Preliminary Examination or Civil Services Aptitude Test(CSAT):- The exam contains questions on – General Studies, comprehension skill, verbal and quantitative aptitude and communication skills. 2.Main Examination and Personal interview:- Those who qualify Preliminary round appear for Main examination. Those who qualify Main examination are called for Interview. The Main examination comprise of following papers. You can become a IAS officer you can apply for the civil service examination. IAS stands for Indian Adminstrative Service. This exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission once in a year. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Candidate should have citizen of india. Candidate should completed the Graduation from any recognized university with any stream. final year appearing candidates are also eligible for IAS exam. there is no minimum percentage required for this exam. Candidate age limit should be between the 21 years to 30 years. Candidate have upper age relaxation for this exam. 3 years age relaxation for the OBC category. 5 years age relaxation for the SC\ST categories. NO OF ATTEMPTS: 4 attempts for General Category 7 attempts for OBC No limit of attempts for SC\ST categories. Candidate should have Physically fit for this exam. You should take the UPSC exam for the become IAS officer conducted by the central govt. Eligibility criteria- Graduation in any decipline with govt. recognized university. Age limit- Gen-21 to 30 year OBC- 21 to 33 year SC/ST-21 to 35 year all the best |

For becoming IAS OFFICER, firstly you have to clear civil service exams that is (INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE ) exam which is conducted by UPSC but you should possess the following ELIGIBLITY CRITERIA ; 1} NATIONALITY : Indian citizen. 2} EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : must have completedGraduation in any stream. 3} AGE LIMIT : 21 years to 28 years.
