CDS Stands for Combined Defence Service examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year as namely CDS I and CDS II . This year CDS I notification was already released and the examination was completed 12 / 02 / 12 . But the exam results was not declared yeat . The results will be expect in the month of June or July in the official website .

CDS Examination is conducted for Selection into Various defence Services like Military , Naval , Air force , Officer training Academy .

Military Acadmey :-

~~Graduate with any discipline degree from a recognized Institute or equivalent qualification .

~~Age limits should be between 19 years to 24 years .

~~No relaxation for reserved categories .

~~No percentage required for CDS Examination .

~~Unmarried male candidates are eligible .

Officer Training Academy :-

~~Graduate with any discipline degree from a recognized Institute or equivalent qualification .

~~Age limits should be between 19 years to 25 years .

~~No relaxation for reserved categories .

~~No percentage required for CDS Examination .

~~Unmarried male/female candidates are eligible .

Naval Academy :-

~~B.Sc degree with Physics and Mathematics Or Engineering degree from a recognized Institute or equivalent qualification .

~~Age limits should be between 19 years to 22 years .

~~No relaxation for reserved categories .

~~No percentage required for CDS Examination .

~~Unmarried male candidates are eligible .

Air force Academy :-

~~Graduate with any discipline and have a mathematics and Physics at 12th level or Engineering degree from a recognized Institute or equivalent qualification .

~~Age limits should be between 19 years to 23 years .

~~No relaxation for reserved categories .

~~No percentage required for CDS Examination .

~~Unmarried male candidates are eligible .

~~Date of Notification :- 02 / 06 / 12

~~Last date for receipt of application :- 02 / 07 / 12

~~Date of examination :- 16 / 09 / 12
