IPS after 12th standard with Biology? Physical requirements for the same?


sir what are needs or the requirememt after passing out 12 class and can biology student take part in ips .what are the physical needs for ips

Look to become an IPS, you need to give the Civil Service exam conducted by the UPSC.

The eligibility conditions for CSAT is as follows:

*Age:

Minimum 21 years of age as on 1st August of th year of the exam.
Upper age limit is 30 years.

*Educational Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in any field from a recognized university.
Final Year students can also apply.

*Physical Standards:

(i)Height:–
Male 165 cm [Pahari Male, ST (not the SC/ OBC) – 160 cm]
Female 150 cm [Pahari Female, ST (not SC/ OBC)- 145 cm]

(ii)Chest:–
Male-84 cm.
Female-79 cm.

(iii)Eye sightL–
6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye. 6/12 or 6/9 for worst eye. Near vision J 1 for good eye. J2 for worst eye.
The correction is by lenses only.
Colour-blindness not acceptable.
No inherent night blindness.

(iv)Blood pressure(High):–
Age 23 – 123
age 24 – 124
age 25 – 122
age 28 – 124
age 30 – 125
age 32 – 126
age 34 – 127

(v)Pregnant ladies at the time of Medical Test are not eligible.

(vi)Ear:-
Good listening & normal ear cavity. Hearing impairment should not be more than 30 decibels.

(vii)Nasal:-
Candidate who stammer while speaking not eligible.



So I have mentioned all you wanted.
Also note that you are not eligible now, so get into some graduation course, no matter what your subjects are and then you can apply once you are in the final year.

To become IPS officer,you need to give UPSC exams conducted every year.
As per educational eligiblity criteria you are not eligible for this exam,presently.
You should have Graduation degree from a recognized University to appear for UPSC IPS exam,so first complete your studies.

Eligiblity Criteria for UPSC IPS EXAM:

Educational Qualification:Graduation degree from a recognized university.

Age limit: 21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs.

Number of Attempts:04 attempts for open, 07 for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs.

Physical fitness criteria For IPS-

Height – Male 165 cm Pahari Male (general also) & ST (not the SC/ OBC) – 160 cm

Female 150 cm Pahari Female (general also) & ST (not SC/ OBC)- 145 cm

Chest – Male Minimum 84 cm. Expansion 5 cm.
Female Min 79 cm expansion 5 cm.

Eye sight – 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye. 6/12 or 6/9 for worst eye. Near vision J 1 for good eye. J2 for worst eye. High standard for the Colour-blind test. No inherent night blindness. Vision should stereoscopic.

Blood pressure (High) – Age 23 – 123, age 24 – 124, age 25 –122, age 28 – 124, age 30 –125, age 32 – 126, age 34 – 127.
Ladies should not be pregnant at the time of Medical Test.

Ear- good listening & normal ear cavity. 1000 to 4000 frequency hearing impairment shd not be more than 30 decibels.

Nasal- candidate should not stammer while speaking.

The General Eligibility Criteria for Becoming IPS or IAS because all these services will come under a common exam called CSE(Civil Service Examination)

IPS is an central service and also deeply regarded as d most prestigious job..

Like this service there are other 24 services for which a common entrance test is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission)

The main basic eligibility criteria for Civils Service Examination

->Candidate must have 21 years of age

->Candidate must complete at least degree from a recognized Indian University

this is all about the basic eligibility criteria of CSE

As per your qualification if you have completed Degree then definitely you are eligible for the exam..

You can go through the examination code for Civil Service Examination in the official website of UPSC

i.e.

The Physical Requirements are uploaded in the text file

all the details regarding physical fitness are uploaded in the same

so please have a look at it.

You cant appear for the IPS test after 12th. You have to complete your graduation first. Take any specialisation of your interest. Also you cant appear unless you are atleast 21 years old. You will be allowed to apply when you reach the final year too.

to become IPS officer you have to first appear in civil service examination. the eligibility criterion to appear in civil service examination is candidate should have minimum of graduation degree in any discipline to appear in civil service examination. now as you are in 12th now so you are not eligible for civil service examination now.

but after your graduation you will be eligible for civil service examination. if you do graduation with biology subject then also you will be eligible for civil service examination. because graduation in any discipline is eligible for civil service examination. but your age must be in between 21 to 30 for general category.

here i am attaching the notification for civil service examination. go through the attachment for all details about civil service examination. civil service examination is conducted by UPSC. visit UPSC website http://www.upsc.gov.in for information about civil service examination.
