IPS exam after graduation with 42% marks?
Dear sir,
I am graduate with 42% was i able to get part in I.P.S. exam. And how?. |

IPS Exam Criteria In Brief !!! To become an IPS Officer One Needs to crack Civil Service Exam. So lets see the Eligibility criteria in Details. Educational Qualification:- Must hold a degree of any Discipline from any Recognized University. Age Limits:- Must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, 2010, i.e. he must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1980 and not later than 1st August, 1989.(This is For IAS 2011 & For Next year Exam it will be different ) Attempts:- For General Category :- only 4 times. For SC/ST:- Any Time under the Above age Limits. For OBC:- Only 7 times. Quote:

Eligibiltiy criteria for IPS exam:
Education qualification: Graduation degree with any discipline in an recognized university with passing percentage. Age: Age should be between 21 to 30 years for General Category candidates Age should be between 21 to 33 years for OBC category candidates Only minimum age is consider for SC/ST category,i.e 21 year If you fulfill with above mentioned criteria,then definitely your are eligible for IPS exam. IPS Eligibility:
To become an IPS you need to appear for the CSAT exam conducted by the UPSC every year. Eligibility: Graduate Men and women can apply. Educational Qualification: Candidate must be graduate in any field. Final year students can apply. No criteria for minimum percentage. Age Limits: Candidate must be minimum 21 years of age as on 1st August of th year of exam. Upper age limit is 30 years(Relaxations for OBC,SC/ST). Max.Attempts: Candidate can appear maximum 4 times. you can definitely attempt the exam if you clear the remaining eligibility criteria and your graduation marks in never a constraint for your IPS dreams , its just that you need to score very well in UPSC exam in order to get the IPS cadre

Hello,
The percentage doesn't matters in the UPSC conducted jobs. So for the IPS you just need a graduation degree from any recognized university. The age limit will be 21 to 30 years for general candidates there will be 5% relaxation for the reserved candidates. So don't get worried about the percentage just apply for it if you really opt for it. Good luck!!!!! |

to become an IPS officer you have to appear in Civil service examination. this examination is conducted by UPSC. first you have to appear in Civil service preliminary examination. after clearing the preliminary examination you have to appear in civil service main examination. after that through interview and medical test you will be selected for IPS training.
the eligibility criterion to appear in civil service examination is candidate should have minimum of graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university. the age should be in between 21 to 30 to appear in the civil service examination for general category candidate. relaxation is there for reserved candidate. here i am attaching the notification for civil service 2011 examination. go through the attachment for complete information about the civil service examination and for other eligibility criterion. visit UPSC official website http://www.upsc.gov.in best wishes. |

the basic info about Civil Service examination is as follows IAS is an central service and also deeply regarded as d most prestigious job.. Like this service there are other 24 services for which a common entrance test is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) The main basic eligibility criteria for Civils Service Examination ->Candidate must have 21 years of age ->Candidate must complete at least degree from a recognized Indian University this is all about the basic eligibility criteria of CSE As per your qualification if you have completed Degree then definitely you are eligible for the exam..
