No, there is no minimum marks which are required in Bachelor Degree which candidate need to have in Degree course to apply in Indian Police Services.
You should have Bachelor Degree in any discipline from recognized university and have sufficient marks which declared you as passed candidate in Bachelor Degree and IPS officer should have very good physical Fitness level that's why candidate should also qualify the physical fitness requirement set by the UPSC particularly for IPS post. (Like you should have the minimum Height and weight to apply in IPS officer post) Other minimum eligibility requirement is quite similar to IAS and IFS exams which are also conduct by UPSC once every year. 3 stages in IPS which student need to Qualify . • Preliminary Examination • Main Examination • Interview Minimum Eligibility for IPS • Graduation from recognized university • Physical fitness level (according to standard set by UPSC) • Age - 21 to 30 years (Age relaxation for other sc/st/obc candidate) General Candidate will have four attempts for this examination (More Attempts for other reserved caste sc/st/obc candidate) For more information official website www.upsc.gov.in/ |
