No, mathematics is not necessary to opt for Law Course after 12th.

After 12th one can apply for 5 years Integrated LL.B. Degree course through entrance exam like CLAT(Common Law Admission Test) for admission to reputed Institutions under National Law University.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian Citizen having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream with 50% marks from a recognised Board within the age of 20 years.

**Lawyers do not have to be expert mathematicians; they do not even have to know calculus. However, all lawyers should have a solid understanding of complex math, accounting and algebra to fulfill their job requirements. Furthermore, scoring well on the LSAT entrance exam requires some math understanding.
