NET stands for National Eligibility Test. NET is conducted by CBSE on behalf of UGC twice every year. This examination is conducted for:
1. Junior Research Fellowship. 2. Lectureship. The academic qualification required for NET examination is master's degree. Final year post graduation candidates can also apply for this exam. The minimum percentage of marks required to apply for NET exam is 55%. The upper age limit for JRF is 28 years and there is no upper age limit for Lectureship. Master of Computer Application candidates are eligible for NET examination. |
