NET stands for National Eligibility Test. NET is conducted by CBSE on behalf of UGC twice every year. This examination is conducted for:

1. Junior Research Fellowship.

2. Lectureship.

The academic qualification required for NET examination is master's degree. Final year post graduation candidates can also apply for this exam. The minimum percentage of marks required to apply for NET exam is 55%.

The upper age limit for JRF is 28 years and there is no upper age limit for Lectureship.

Master of Computer Application candidates are eligible for NET examination.

Eligibility to appear in NET Entrance Exam:

Candidate must have completed Masters course from a recognised University with minimum 50% marks.
There is no age bar to appear in this entrance exam.
As you have completed your MCA course to you are definitely eligible to appear in this exam. Make sure you are eligible on the basis of your percentage and other age criteria.
