NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam.This exam is conduct twice time in a year.

This Entrance Exam will let the candidates to be placed in the following defence services
-Army wing
-Navy wing
-Air Force wing

If you have completed 12th standard from recognized board with science department you are applicable for NDA exam.Commerce and student are applicable for only Indian Army branch.

There is no marks criteria so only 12th standard are applicable for NDA exam.

But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

Only unmarried male candidate are applicable for NDA exam.You must have citizenship of India.


PHYSICAL CRITERIA FOR NDA EXAM(HEIGHT AND WEIGHT)

If you are not satisfy the below table then you are not applicable.



NDA I Exam date already over .But you can try for NDA II exam also.

EXAM DATE FOR NDA II EXAM:-

• Date of commencement of notification : 05-05-2012
• Last date for the receipt of completed application forms : 04-06-2012
• Date of NDA II Exam : 19-08-2012

HI!
N.D.A is National Defence Academy.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C. twice in a year.

Friend as such there is no hard and fast rule for N.D.A exam.
The candidate who pass 12th with any percentage are eligible for N.D.A.
exam.

The age limit for N.D.A exam 16.5-19 year.

In N.D.A exam only Unmarried Male candidate are eligible.

There are three steep of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

1,Students who have passed 10+2 OR Equivalent qualification are eligible for applying in NDA.
BUT
If you have done your 12th with compulsory subjects maths and physics than you are
Eligible to apply in all the branches – NAVY,ARMY,AIR FORCE.

SIR I HAVE 68 KG AND MY HEIGHT IS 177CM IS IM ELIGIBLE

There is no provision for any percentage of marks criteria in 12th to apply for NDA.

NDA- NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to three wings of NDA:-

INDIAN ARMY
INDIAN NAVY
INDIAN AIR FORCE

The candidate must be an Indian unmarried male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years of age with good Physical Fitness.

The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview along with physical fitness and Medical Test.

There is no fixed percentage of marks that if you secure in 12th , then you will be selected in NDA directly.

If you want to be selected in NDA , then you have to successfully qualify the NDA exam consisting both the written exam and personal interview test.

The basic criteria required for NDA exam are :

* You must be unmarried having the age between 16.5-19 years.

* You must be an unmarried male.

* You must be a citizen of India.

* You must have passed 12th from any recognized board.

Educational qualifications required:
In order to apply for Army wing of National Defence Academy, applicant must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam in any stream.
For Air Force Academy and Navy wings of NDA, candidate should have Mathematics and Physics subjects in his 10+2 exam.
Candidates who are studying in second year of 10+2 exam are also eligible to apply for NDA & NA exam (II).
For Naval Academy also applicant must have studied Physics and Maths at 10+2 level.

There are medical and physical standards to be met for joining the Indian Army. Candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the higher secondary examination and atleast, have 40% in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English. During the time of admission, he should be 17 1/2 years and must not be over 23 years of age. After or during the +2 tenure, interested candidates need to write NDA Exam for the Army wing of National Defense Academy.

The examination of the NDA(National Defence Academy)is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC)twice in a year to recruit the canditates in Army,Navy& Air forces of wings of National Defence Academy.

The Eligibil criteria is

1.NATIONALITY
the candidates must be either be a citizen of India or subject of Bhutan or Nepal
2.Only Unmarried Male candidates are eligible(AGE:: 16.5 to 19)
3.Educational Qualification
For Army Wing of Ntional Defence Academy: 12th class pass of 10+2 school pattern Education.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Candidates who are appearing int he 12th Class under 10+2 Pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.
Candidate must be physically fit.

Exam Pattern: The UPSC NDA exam comprises of 2 stages.
I. Written Examination
II. Interview
