i want to know about the pattern of state entrance examination for goverment lecturership.

It varies from state to state .Most probably there will be two papers. The first one is to examine you general knowledge, language skill, analytical skill, comprehension skill, logical reasoning aptitude etc. The weightage of each part will be different. The second paper is for testing your subject knowledge . This will cover the entire portion of your Post Graduation. The selection will be based on your marks and interview performance.
The other criterion for selection depends on your other degrees, age, publication, paper presentation etc.
