Branch Change After Completing 1st year of Engineering.

If you are studying in the 1st year of engineering course and want to change the branch after completing 1st year of engineering i.e in the 2nd year then you can change the branch in 2nd year if your CGPA in the first year is minimum 8.5 or above and there are no backlog in any paper of 1st year. If you satisfy the above eligibility criteria then you can change the branch after completing 1st year of engineering.

So, If you want to change the branch after 1st year of engineering then please contact the head of the department of your college. What is your branch in the 1st year. You not mention the branch name in the question. Do hard work and get a good marks because if your CGPA is less then 8.5 then you are not eligible to branch change after completing 1st year of engineering.

If institutions are in the same university you can go transfer of college,or you can go for mutual exchange of seat with any student if he/she is willing to do so .But this transferring can be done within same year or batch.You can talk in the university office for more information . or check the nagpur university website.

if u want to change your branch to b.e 1st year in another college then u will have to appear in the AIEEE exam (or the appropriate exam through which your desired college enrolls its students) again and score accordingly so that u can qualify for your desired college..

its completely possible everywhere and it is irrespective of your CGPA which u have scored in your previous year..
many students have changed their college to b.e 1st year of another college after completing their 1st year in our college..so its totally possible..

after you get admission in one college then you go for another college
it is very difficult but not impossible.
First you go for take permission from your study college
then you go for this application to the your want college.

then if they will approve your seat then you get transfer........

no. when you register you name and course in the respective university for first and second year exam you can"t change the course

Dear friend,

It is not possible to change stream in 2 nd year this is possible when you are in 1 st year 2 nd sem.

So you have already crossed the 3 rd sem. So it is not possible.

When you are in 1 st year , if you have score 8.5 in average of two semester then you applicable.

But you crossed the time so please carry on your career with your departments.

Yes it is possible to change the branch after 1st year .But for that you have to score more than 8.5 in CGPA of 1st year and there have to be at least one site blank in the branch you want to go .
If those things are all right then you have to talk to the Head of the Department .I am sure he will help you .

Branch Change After 1st Year of B.Tech.

Nice to see you in the engineering field. It is possible to change your branch after completing the 1st year of the engineering course within the same University.

There is some criteria to change the branch may be change from university to university. I think that the CGPA must be grater then 8.5 and there is no backlog in the 1st year. I advise you to contact the college administrative for the further information. If you have good marks in the 1st year then i think that you can do it.
