I have completed diploma in computer science after 12th in science. My father is X serviceman. My age is 22 years, can I apply for Indian female army. How can I apply to army female officer? Can someone please guide me with the details which I need to follow? Thanks!

No, you are not eligible to appear in CDS examination as per your qualification.

CDS examination is conducted for recruitment of officers in defence service. The required qualification to appear in examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree.

The required discipline in bachelor degree varies with various post. The age limit for recruitment in Indian Army is 19-24 years.

So, you have to pursue bachelor degree to appear in examination. The examination is conducted in two stages and candidates have to qualify in both stages for final selection.

A diploma is equivalent to the 12th standard.

So, you surely apply for all the jobs which require either12th or diploma.

Unfortunately you cannot apply for the jobs which ask for a graduation degree as a diploma is not equivalent to the degree.

First thing I would like to let you know that being a girl you are not eligible to join Indian defense services as an officer on the basis of Class 12th education or any degree equivalent to Class 12th.

Further the only possibility through which a girl candidate can join Indian defense services as an officer is through CDS ( Combined Defense Services ) examination and for appearing in the same one is required to have either completed his/her graduation degree or must be in the final year of same from a recognized university.

So being a Class 12th passed candidate and diploma in computer science degree holder you are not eligible for joining Indian Army at this stage as per the reason stated above.
