Hi; am doing Msc i want to became a CBI officer so how to prepare for CBI entrance and what is total process for doing cbi officer. So pls tell mr

CBI stands for the Central Bureau of Investigation. To join CBI as an officer, you must apply for the Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate level examination conducted every year for every graduate.

Eligibility criteria for the SSC CGL exam:

>>Candidate must have done bachelor's degree form a recognized university with at least passing percentage of marks. As you have done master's degree in science, you can apply for the exam.

>>The age limit for the SSC CGL exam for CBI posts is 20-30 years and upper age relaxed for reserved category candidates upto five years.

After that, you must apply for the SSC CGL exam at official webiste www.ssconline.nic.in. You must crack all the three stages Tier I, II and interview as well as physical test for CBI to join this department.

# In order to become a CBI Officer, you are advised to appeared in Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE).

# Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) is a nationwide competitive examination conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) annually for the posts of CBI officer along with various vacant posts in various department and ministries of Union Government.

# Required age limit:

* Candidate of General category should be 18-27 years for age.
* Candidate of OBC category should be 18-30 years for age.
* Candidate of SC/ST category should be 18-27 years for age.
* Candidate of Physically Handicapped category should be 18-37 years for age.

# Prescribed educational qualification:

* Possession of any bachelor degree stream from recognized university.
* Final year students are also eligible to appear.

CBI stands for the Central Bureau of Investigation and to become the CBI you have to qualify in the SSC CGL examination.
