The following persons shall be eligible for appearing in the TET:

1. A person who has acquired the academic and professional qualifications
specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010.

2. A person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by
the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification
dated 23rd August 2010.

3. The eligibility condition for appearing in TET may be relaxed in respect of a
State/UT which has been granted relaxation under sub-section (2) of section 23
of the RTE Act. The relaxation will be specified in the Notification issued by the
Central Government under that sub-section.

The Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) will be
conducted once a year, separately by the state

There is no bar on the number of attempts by an aspiring teacher for obtaining a TET certificate. one can appear a second time to improve the score.

SIR MAI JANANA CHAHATA HOON KI HTET MAI OTHER STATE KA QUOTA HAI KYA

The New Rules have been set by the central Government of India for the recruitment of new teacher at various primary schools in India. NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) has made various guidelines and rules for the new recruitment of teacher in government and in private schools in India. The Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) will be compulsory for all aspirants to be able to teach in various private and government schools. The entire teacher will be appointed after passing the teacher eligibility test (TET) exam. Every State in India have to take this test before recruiting the teacher. After passing this exam the candidate will be eligible for teaching in Government and private schools. The TET pass certificate will be valid for three years only. After complete the three years teachers have to pass TET exam again.

TET exam will be conducted for three – three hours in two sets.



For the First Set the aspirant will be Test on these five subjects given below:

1. Child Development and Pedagogy

2. Mathematics

3. Environmental Study

4. Language I (medium of instruction)

5. Language II (chosen from a list other than language I)

As specified above each section will have 30 questions of one mark each.

I HAVE 47% IN 12th and 2 year diploma in e.t.t with 75% marks so can i apear in this htet exam plz reply soon
