Re: Required Qualification to appear for IPS Exam?
Many of the candidates have the desire to see themselves as IPS officers but it is not possible for all the candidates.
Only those candidates who put their best efforts towards the selection procedure will get a chance to be placed in IPS. Here is route map for you to be placed in IPS. First you need to crack CSAT Exam (Civil Services Aptitude Test). In this exam, the questions will be from the following subjects -General Awareness -General English -Aptitude And then you need to crack civil services main Exam. This Main Exam will be conducted on the optional subject that you have chosen. I suggest you to opt for the optional subject in accordance with your stream in Graduation. If you have completed even with this round also, then finally you have to attend for the Interview. The required academic qualification for the candidates in order to apply for CSAT Exam will be completion of Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university. Required age criteria is 21-30 years. But for the candidates of OBC category, relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years and 5 years for SC or ST category candidates. Have good preparation for the Entrance Exam and crack it. Wish you all the best. For more information on this exam, you can visit http://upsc.gov.in/ |
