You have not specified that in what diploma you are doing. I am giving you details about the eligibility criteria. But a candidate can appear for the exam if he/she is a graduate and should 21 years completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs. If you have done a graduation and doing diploma after graduation then you can give exam of IPS. And if you doing diploma after 12th than you are not eligible for the IPS exam.

No after diploma you cannot give UPSC IPS EXAMS as you should have a Bachelors degree for appearing in this Exam.

Educational Qualifications For IPS:


Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts Civil Services examination every year. The minimum eligibility criteria for IPS is
graduation in any discipline from a recognize university and the age
must be between 21 to 30 years.
Diploma course is not equivalent to the graduation then you
are not eligible for IPS exam. If you want to appear in IPS exm then first
do the graduation and then apply for IPS exam. For any details information

Any one who has passed his graduation exam can appear for it.

So if you have completed your degree than you are eligible to appear for IPS exam.

Also your age should be between 21 to 30 years.

If you are in final year than too you can appear for the exam.

You will be required to appear for exam which is conducted by UPSC.

Generally candidates only get 4 chance to appear for exam.

So prepare for the exam very well before appearing for it.

There is no Problem.If you have interested in Civil Service Exam give the Exam.

And You have a already Graduate Degree.So Definitely you are Eligible for Civil Service Examination.

And Age should between 21 - 30 Yrs as on august 1st of the year of Examination.

Those in the final year of a degree course may also Eligible to Apply.

IPS Examination is conducted by Upsc Every year.

• General candidate can attempt Civil Service Exam 4 times.

Eligibility criteria for Indian Public Service exam:
Education Qualification:
Candidate should complete graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university.
Age limit:
Age should be between 21 to 30 years.

As you have not completed graduation degree,now you are not eligible for Indian Public Service exam.You can appear for this exam after your graduation degree.

Dear friend,

Diploma candidate are not eligible for IPS exam.

IPS exam is conducted by UPSC. There are some criteria you have to follow for appearing in IPS exam.

Those candidate have completed graduation in any discipline from recognized university are eligible for IPS exam.

But your age should be in between 21-30years for general candidate.
In IPS exam their is provide age relaxation for OBC candidate is 3years and for SC/ST candidate is 5 years.

The maximum attempts for Sc/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

Also you must be citizen of India.

PROCESS BECOME A IPS OFFICER:-

1. Fill up the Application form.

2.Preliminary exam is consist of two papers.

a) General studies -----150 marks

b)From Optional subject -------300 marks

3.If you have qualify in Preliminary exam then you have to go for IPS mains exam.

4.After completion of your main exam you have to go for Interview.

To become an IPS(Indian Police Service) officer one has to apply,
appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC once every year.

To be eligible to apply for IPS Civil Service Exam, the candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with good Physical Fitness.

Apart from this the aspiring IPS candidate should meet the minimum prescribed physical requirement such as:-

HEIGHT:-

For General Male-165cm and Female-150cm while SC/ST Male-160cm and Female-145cm.

CHEST:-

For Male-85cm while Female-79cm expandable to5cm in both the cases.

So as you are interested you can apply for Civil Service Exam
in the final year B.Com. Degree. The Civil Service exam can be
applied through both offline and online mode by paying requisite fees for the exam.
