Candidates belonging to any stream may select optional paper from any field. Being a candidate from engineering background, it is not mandatory for you to take subjects from your relevant discipline. You may take any two subjects from the given list but the following combination of subjects are not allowed:

• Agriculture and Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science
• Management and Public Administration
• Political Science & International Relations and Public Administration
• Commerce and Management
• Anthropology and Sociology
• Maths and Statistics
• Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science and Medical Science
• Any two branches of engineering
