No, there is a no any entrance exam for taking admission in BCA it is totally based on 12th pass percentage.

Soon after the completion of 10+2,
one can become eligible to pursue
BCA course at graduation level. Many colleges give admissions for
BCA subject to the eligibility criteria
that
-Candidate should have to secure a
minimum of 50% of marks at 10+2
level -Candidates must have Mathematics
as one of the subject at 10+2 level. Some colleges give admissions
directly while some other institutes
may conduct entrance test as a part
of the eligibility criteria. There is a possibility to join BCA
without having Mathematics as one
of the subject at 10+2 level. But this is
possible in limited number of
colleges. I would suggest you to perform well
in your BCA and then go for MCA later
on make entry into top IT companies
to have good career.

There is no Separate Entrance Examination for BCA Course , You may get direct admission for BCA course after completing 12th standard . But Some Top Institution conduct own Entrance Examination within the College . Based on the Entrance Examination performance there will allot the Admission for the candidate .

BCA stands for Bachelor of Computer Application . It is an Bachelor degree and the Course fully based on the Computer Filed . The duration for the BCA course is for three years and the course is divided into six semester . There are so Many College india offers this BCA Course .

The Eligibility Criteria for BCA course is differ From College to College . To apply for BCA Course ,you should Complete bachelor degree in any discipline 12th standard in any discipline from recognized University . you should score Minimum 50% percentage of marks in 12th board Examination .

Note :- Some Reputed Colleges may require Mathematics subject in 12th standard .Some Colleges are give admission for without the Mathematics subject .

I suggest you to go through the Eligibility Criteria of the Institution before apply for BCA Course . Because the eligibility Criteria is differ From Institution to Institution .

So, If you complete 12th standard with good percentage of marks then you may get admission for BCA Course in reputed Colleges .

The course structure is either divided in semester mode or in year mode.
You can do this course after completion of your 12th studies.
There are many colleges offering this course.

However,the eligibility criteria to get admission in this course differs from college to college.
The eligibility criteria that should be fulfilled by you include:-
1.You should have passed your 12th from a recognised board.
2.You should have got at least 50% in your 12th.
3.You should have studied Maths in your 12th.

The admission in this course is either directly based on your 12th marks or it is based on your performance in the entrance test conducted by the institute itself.
Many of the good institutes conduct entrance test for admission in this course because the number of students who want to take admission is much more than the number of seats available in a good institute.

After completion of your BCA,you will have many options.
You will get a decent job either in a public sector or in a private sector if you do graduation from a good institute and perform well in your graduation.
You can get job in software companies like WIPRO,INFOSYS,TCS,MICROSOFT,GOOGLE,etc.
Government jobs that would be available for you include Banking Sector,Railways,Civil Services,etc.

Or the other option present is to go for higher studies like MCA,MBA in IT,etc.

I tell you No special exam conducted for BCA but yes Some college has conducted exam for
graduation level entrance Exam Any candidate passed 12th with 45% in any stream can apply in there college

The admission procedure for BCA varies from one college to the other. Some gives direct admission but the top rung colleges generally conducts an exam and merit list is published by combining your board marks and entrance exam marks.

So there is no all india entrance exam for BCA as such. But the top notch colleges generally conducts an exam and the result is published by combining your examination marks and the marks you have got in your board exam.

Selection procedure includes written exam, group discussion and personal interview.

Generally if you have 50% of marks at 10+2 level then you are eligible to pursue this course. Along with science students, commerce students are also eligible to pursue this course. It is however mandatory to have mathematics at 10+2 level.

Top BCA Institutes are Cochin Univ of Science & Tech, NIT Bhopal and Allahabad, Pondicherry Central University, University of Pune, VIT University Vellore and Jagannath Institute of Management Sciences.
