Yes, USA values education from other countries equally as it values the course curriculum of its own country. So you will not have a problem when you settle in USA. You just need to give GRE test before going to USA. Since you are a medical student of India, you don't have any degree that will comply with the USA norms. So you need to pass some international test that will conform with the norms of USA. Such a test is:
GRE test. GRE test is held in two formats, paper format and computer driven online format. You can give written test as many times you want to. But online tests can be sat for maximum 5 times a year. Normally the results of the test are declared within a month.
Mostly the result of the test is sent directly to the company or organization of any foreign country who is about to recruit you. It is because it is that country which wishes to see your GRE score and recruit you on that basis. This year, probably the forms for GRE will be given by the end of August. So sit for GRE.
