Want to do MS in US, I am a Lecturer in engineering college

i have aggregate first class in B.E. from a good university. I have 1/2 yrs exp in telecom industry and now I am working as a lecturer in engineering college for 8 months. I plan to go to US for MS in Fall 2010, while continuing my teaching job. Will teaching exp count? Also will backlogs (2) in my engg. affect admissions?

See if you are interested in doing MS from US then you will have to answer GRE or TOEFL.You score should be great if you want to get admission to best universities in US. GRE is all about quantitative and verbal skills and TOEFL is about English proficiency.
The other way to get an MS is by recommendation by a university however that can be compensated by scoring well in GRE

Cheers and i dont think those backlogs will affect your admission through GRE or TOEFL

I don't think so that teaching experience counts
but it will add on to ur resume-in

i am currently in final year of b.tech from NIT nagpur. my gre date is 20 dec, which i've been told, is very late. But I cannot make it earlier because of end semester. Is there anything i can do to avoid missing the deadlines for fall semester. Can I apply without sending my GRE score??
