To join in Indian Navy, your son must have to pursue his higher studies in 11th and 12th standard after completion of 10th standard. To be eligible to join in Indian Navy, your son must have to appear in NDA examination which is conducted by UPSC twice a year. By qualifying the NDA examination, your son is eligible to join in Indian Navy. Since, your son is pursuing 10th class right now, I suggest you to join your son in 11th and 12th standard after completion of 10th standard, so, that he is eligible to appear in NDA examination for joining in Indian Navy.

You cannot apply for Indian Navy just after completion of your 10th standard, you need to have completed your 12th standard in order to be eligible to apply.

You should have completed your +2 level of education from a recognized board and should have studied Science at your +2 level having studied Physics and Mathematics as your main subjects. You should be unmarried and your age should be in between 16.5-19.5 years.
