I have passed my Higher Secondary i.e. 12th board exam from Commerce stream and have Mathematics as one of the major subjects. Now, I was interested in Architecture course. I know we need Science background but I had Math in my plus 2. So, I think I may apply. Please, confirm on this.

As far as you are concerned about the minimum education required for pursuing B.Tech in Architecture degree course then it is a higher secondary school degree with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as main subjects from a recognized board of education.

So, being a commerce stream at Class 12th level academics you are not eligible for pursuing B.Tech in Architecture degree course.

But, if your are interested in Architecture then you can go for B.Arch ( Bachelor of Architecture ) degree course for which the minimum education required is a higher secondary school degree in any discipline but with Mathematics as a main subject from a recognized board of education.

So, being a commerce stream student at Class 12th level with Mathematics as a main subject you are eligible for pursuing B.Arch degree course.

Further, for pursuing B.Arch from top architectural colleges you need to qualify entrance examinations such as JEE ( Joint Entrance Examination ) Paper II and NATA ( National Aptitude Test in Architecture ).

Sorry, to say that you are not eligible to apply for B.Tech Architecture course after completion of your 12th standard Commerce stream with Mathematics subject. To be eligible to apply for B.Tech Architecture course, you should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemo subjects from a Government recognised board. Since, you have not pursued your 12th standard with PCM stream, you are not eligible to pursue B.Tech Architecture course.

** B.Tech. Architecture Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Architecture Engineering is an undergraduate Architecture Engineering course.

** For this course candidate must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board.

** As per my knowledge, you are not eligible for B.Tech Architecture having passed 12th from Commerce stream with Mathematics.
