i want to know that what is basic criteria for giving gate exam for an b-tech student.can i give gate exam with +2 percentage of 48%.but my 10th percentage is 78%.

Pass in B.Tech is the basic eligibility for GATE. Final year engineering graduates can also apply for the test. Apart from this, master degree holders in selected streams of science are eligible to attend the test. Website of GATE will contain enough details regarding the exam. Applications can also be forwarded through the official portal.

how much percentage required in 10th and 12th???

my 12th percentage is 58 &10th 'is 80 then can i eligible for gate exam

-For GATE you should be a B.Tech. graduate from a AICTE approved institute or college.

-GATE is graduate aptitude test in engineering conducted for engineering and technical graduates for admission into M.Tech with stipend.

-GATE qualified students are paid stipend if they do Masters in their respective field from a AICTE approved college.

-So you can give GATE exam if you are B.tech .

-GATE score also helps in getting you job . GATE qualified people are preferred for the job.
