Procedure for M.Tech through GATE for B.Tech student?


I am a student of btech(biotechnology) IIyear.i want to take admission in mtech through GATE.but i am now aware about the procedure,criteria,syllabus..etc for the preperation.i request you to kindly help me and provide me all the information on my email account.thank you

Here are the details of GATE exam:

Eligibility requirement: Candidate must hold a Bachelor degree holders in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture (4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes may also apply.

Age limit: There is no age limit for appearing in GATE exam

No. of attempts: There is no restriction on no. of attempts in GATE exam

btech score is not an eligibility criteria for gate exam .u have make a score in the exam conducted by IISC and IIT that exam is gate. for furthur details visit www.iitgate2012.com

Friend,

Procedure is simple.....
You have to study all your engineering subjects........
from that only questions will be come.........
Apply for the gate exam in the month of November.....
The exam will be conducted in every Second sunday of February.....

Dear friend,,

If you are pursuing your b.tech Part time ,,

then you are ELIGIBLE for GATE exam,,

However,,pre final year students are not eligible for gate.

ELIGIBILITY FOR GATE EXAM

>>Bachelor degree holder in engineering/technology/architecture and whose who are in final year.

>>master's degree holder in any branch of science/mathematics/statics/computer application whose who are in final year.

>>Candidates in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master's degree programme (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/Technology.

>>Candidates in the fourth or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master's degree programme or Dual Degree programme in Engineering/Technology.

>>Candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE (e.g. AMIE by Institute of Engineers (India); AMICE by Institute of Civil Engineers (India)) as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. Those who have completed section A or equivalent of such professional courses are also eligible.

GATE is all india exam which is for PG courses where you get stipend also.

Dear friend,
For gate examination
You will have to be a final year B.Tech students or current year pass out student
Every year GATE examination is held.
There is no criteria for GATE examination.
At first you will have to fill up the form of GATE and then you will have to be appeared in examination.
Normally GATE is held during February.

In GATE examination you will have to give an examination for 3 hours off 100 marks.
Then there will be a cut off marks for every department.
you will have to cross that marks.
Then you will be eligible for M.Tech.

I think you understand these things.
