Humanities stream candidates after 12th can apply for certain government job entrance exams and if student clear that exam he can get good job.

Some of the entrance exams for government job are:

1. Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher secondary level examination.

2. Intelligence Bureau Security Assistant exam.

3. FCI entrance exam for clerical posts.

The age limit required for all these exams is 18 years.

If you do want to go for jobs then you can pursue Bachelor's degree in arts for better job opportunities.

There are are very less job opportunities at senior secondary level for Humanities stream candidates. Some of the government job options for arts stream candidates are SSC CHSL exam, Clerical exam in government departments, IB Security Assistant exam etc.

You can pursue bachelor's degree in any stream of your choice after 12th. Humanities stream candidates generally prefer to go for Civil Services examination. You can start your preparation after 12th. Banking sector jobs after graduation is also good career option for these candidates.

After completion of your 12th standard with Humanities stream, you can pursue your higher studies in any course of your interest. You can pursue Bachelor's degree course in Arts/ Commerce/ Hotel Management/ Fashion Designing course from a Government recognised university. So, I suggest you to pursue any course of your interest for pursuing your higher studies after completion of your 12th standard with Humanities stream from a Government recognised board.
