What is the eligibility criteria required for applying NET JRF exam?
Sir/Mam,
What is the eligibility criteria required for applying NET JRF exam? Can you please let me know the minimum criteria which is required to apply for the exam? Is it possible to apply for the exam if I have done the UG course from non approved college. Thank you. |

NET stands for National Eligibility Test and it conducts entrance examination for selection of candidate as JRF.
The eligibility to appear for examination is candidate must have passed master's degree from any recognised university with minimum 55%. The age limit to appear for examination is 19-28 years. Since, you have bachelor degree you are not eligible to appear for examination. |

The eligibility criteria to appear in Junior Royal Fellowship National Eligibility Test:
A candidate must have done master degree or equivalent with minimum 55% of marks for general and OBC. 50% for SC and ST candidates. Final year students can also appear. Age limit should be in between 19 to 28 years and relaxation of 5 years is given to reserved categories. |

Every year the CSIR conducts Joint CSIR-UGC test for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship).
Eligibility Criteria Required for appear in NET(National Eligibility Test) Junior Research Fellowship(JRF) exam are: **Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination can eligible for this exam. 5% Relaxation for Reserved categories. ** You age should not be more tha 28 year and 5 year relaxation for SC/ST/OBC Candidates. |

JRF stands for Junior Research Fellowship. The examination for selection as JRF is conducted by NET.
No, you are not eligible to appear for examination after under graduate course as minimum required educational qualification to appear for examination is master's degree. |

No, it will not be possible to apply for NET only after doing UG course,for that you have to first complete your Master's degree.
NET stands for National Eligibility Test . It is an entrance examination conducted at national level for the candidates who wishes to get teaching jobs in government university. NET exam is conducted by UGC (university grant commission) twice a year in the month of June and September . The eligibility criteria for NET exam are as under:- -The candidate must be an Indian. -The candidate should possess Master's degree in related subjects with at least 55 % of marks. Final year appearing student can also apply for the exam. -The candidates appearing for JRF should not be above 28 years of age. The candidates appearing only for lectureship have no upper age limit. Age relaxation of 5 years will be given to SC/ST/OBC or physically disabled or women or visually handicapped. The selection process involves of * Written exam , and * Interview . |

NET JRF is National Eligibility Test Junior Research Fellowship. The eligibility for this is that candidate must have done master's degree from a recognized university. Candidate should have at least 55% marks in master's degree to be eligible for UGC NET exam for either JRF or Lectureship.
The upper age limit for Lectureship is 28 years. Upper age limit for JRF relaxed for OBC and SC/ST candidates as well as 5% marks relaxation. Your institute must be recognized by UGC otherwise you will not be eligible for UGC NET exam. For lectureship, there is no age limit. |

JRF NET Criteria
- You must have passed master's course from a recognized university with atleast 55%. - Age limit is 28 years for JRF. Relaxation applicable 3 years to OBC and 5 years to SC/ST. Exam Pattern Paper I Total 60 questions will be asked out of which only 50 to be answered. - Total Marks : 100 - Time : 75 Minutes Paper II - Total 50 compulsory questions will be asked. - Total Marks : 100 - Time : 75 Minutes Paper III - Total 75 compulsory questions will be asked. - Total Marks : 150 - Time : 150 Minutes |

Eligibility required for NET JRF exam:
Candidates should have a master degree in their respective streams and equivalent degree recognized by UGC. Final year candidates can also apply for the test. Ph.D. can also apply for NET. The condition is that they should have minimum 55% marks in their master degree. The candidates need minimum 55% marks. For SC/ST candidates they need minimum 50% marks. Age should not be more than 28 years. There is relaxation for reserved categories of 5 years. |
