You are eligible for the Indian Administrative Service. All you need to do is complete the graduation degree. Once you have completed the degree you can apply for the Civil Services Examination to become IAS officer.

Having married will not affect your chances of becoming IAS officer. Besides you do not have to worry about age limit as well. Since you are only 23 years old, there is still 7 years till you can apply for the Civil Services Examination.

Only when you will turn 30 years, it would not be possible to appear for the Civil Services Examination. Till then feel free to apply. However please remember that you will get 4 attempts to clear the Civil Services Examination.

You should spend rest of the year studying and preparing for the Indian Administrative Service. Next year you can apply for the Civil Services Examination. The registration starts towards the early part of the year.

IAS Eligibility

1. You should be Indian national to apply for IAS.

2. Should be able to complete graduation course.

3. You just need passing marks in graduation.

4. The age limit is 21 to 30 years for General candidates.

5. Age limit is 21 to 33 years for the OBC.

6. 21 to 35 years is the limit for SC/ST.

7. There are no physical criteria for the exam.

8. You will get 4 attempts to clear Civil Services Examination.

9. OBC gets 7 attempts for the exam.

10. There is no limit for SC/ST. Can appear as long as meeting age limit.

Selection Procedure

1. Preliminary Exam

2. Main Exam

3. Personal Interview

The candidates can make entry into various civil services like

Indian Police Service
Indian Revenue Service
Indian Foreign Service etc by cracking this exam.

The complete selection procedure will be
CSAT Exam (Civil Services Aptitude Test)
Civil Services Main Exam

One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university in order to be eligible for this exam.

The required age criteria for the candidates will be
For General category :21-30 years
