NDA and CDS are the main gateways through which one can join defense. 12th pass is enough to join NDA. Graduates irrespective of their subject can look for CDS. For NDA age of the candidate must fall between16.5-19 years. In case of CDS, age of the eligible candidate must be between 19 and 23 years.
