No, you are not eligible to apply for Bank Probationary Officer examination after completion of your 12th standard. To be eligible to apply for Bank Probationary Officer examination, you should have passed Bachelor's degree course in any discipline from a Government recognised university. So, being a 12th passed candidate, you have to pursue Bachelor's degree course to be eligible to apply for Bank Probationary Officer examination.

As far as you are concerned about the minimum education required to apply for bank probationary post then it is a bachelor education degree course in any discipline from a recognized university.

So, being just a Class 12th passed candidate you are not eligible to apply for bank probationary post at this stage but once you complete your bachelor degree course you can certainly apply for bank PO posts.

Also, for your recruitment as bank PO in nationalized banks of India you need to qualify bank examinations like SBI bank PO or IBPS bank PO examinations. For more details regarding these entrance examinations you can refer to the link www.sbiexam.com or www.ibps.in.

You will be eligible to apply for Bank exams after completing graduation in any of the stream but from a recognized university.
You have only completed 10+2 therefore, you have to pursue graduation to be eligible.
After completing graduation you will be eligible to apply for the post of Clerk, PO etc.
Age criteria should be- 21 years to 30 years.

The entrance examination for post of Probationary officer in banks is conducted by Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection. IBPS conducts entrance exam for post of PO and Clerk for different banks.

The minimum academic qualification required to apply for Bank Probationary officer examination is bachelor's degree. With senior secondary as academic qualification, you can not apply for IBPS or SBI PO exam. You must pursue bachelor's degree in discipline of your choice to become eligible for PO exam.

The age criteria for IBPS PO is 20-30 years and that for SBI PO is 21-30 years.

* The minimum eligibility criteria required to apply for bank PO ( Probationary officer ) examinations are as here under :-

i) You must be an Indian citizen.

ii) Your age must lie within 21 years to 32 years. Age relaxation is allowed for reserved category candidates as per the government norms.

iii) You must have completed your graduation degree course in any discipline from a recognized university. Students in final year of their graduation degree are also eligible.

iv) You must have basic knowledge of operating computer along with good communication skills.

So, having completed your Class 12th with 57% marks, you are not eligible to appear in any bank PO examination right now but once you complete your graduation degree course you can apply for the same examination (provided you satisfy other eligibility requirement too).

The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for any bank job, be it clerical or Bank PO, you need to have a graduation degree in any stream from a recognised college/institute. So being a 10+2 pass student you are not eligible to apply for the Bank PO exam.

>> First complete your degree in your desired stream. There is no any compulsion for the stream selected, you can select any of your choice. once you have completed your graduation or while in last year of the course you will become eligible for applying to BANK PO exam.

>> The minimum age to apply for the Bank PO and Clerk is 20 years, while the maximum age for the Bank PO is 30 years and that for the clerk is 28 years.

>> The Selection for the BANK PO will be done after 3 stage:
1. Preliminary Examination
2. Main Examination
3. Interview

Note : There is no interview for the Clerical staff.
