MCA is Master in Computer Application and required qualification to appear for entrance examination to get admission in the course is that:

Candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

Candidate must have passed 12th with mathematics as main paper.

To appear for some of the entrance examination the required minimum aggregate is 60% in bachelor degree.

So, you can check your eligibility as per the entrance examination in which you want to appear.

NIMCET, IPU CET, and various other examination is conducted for admission in MCA course.

MCA refers to Master of Computer Application and same is a professional degree course of two years with a very good career scope in the software world.

Further, the basic educational qualification required for pursuing MCA degree course is a bachelor degree course in any discipline with at least 60% marks ( in case of most of the college it is 60% or 55% ) from a recognized university. Further, the candidate must have pursued Mathematics at Class 12th or bachelor degree level.

So having completed your BCA ( Bachelor of Computer Application ) degree course with 70% marks you are certainly eligible for admission most of the colleges.

The eligibility to appear for the entrance examination to get admission in MCA course is that candidate must have passed 12th with mathematics as main paper.

So you are eligible to appear for the examination as per your present qualification.

In some of the institute, it is compulsory that candidate must have mathematics as main paper in bachelor degree to appear for examination.
