What is the minimum percentage required in graduation to appear for IBPS PO exam

My query is what will be the minimum percentage in graduation for appearing in IBPS PO exam, im in total confusion please do help me. Thank you.

you have completed Graduation degree
there is not any condition

Your age should be in between 18 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is provide for reserved category.

Selection process for IBPS Exam is 1)Written Test 2)descriptive test 2) Personal Interview.

IBPS- Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. It conduct the bank exam every year for PO for 19 public sector of bank.

Participate Banks are-



Only those candidate have completed graduation degree are eligible for BANK PO exam.There is not require any percentage marks for graduation degree .

Also all candidate age must be in between 21 to 30 years.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

Selection process for IBPS PO exam are Written test and Personal Interview.

Pattern for IBPS PO Exam:-


Reasoning- 50 marks (50 questions)
English Language- 25 marks (50 questions)
Quantitative Aptitude- 50 marks (50 questions)
General awareness with reference to banking industry- 50 marks (50 questions)
Computer knowledge- 50 marks (50 questions)
Descriptive papers on English composition- 25 marks (50 questions)

Let me solve your confusion. There is no percentage criteria to appear for the IBPS Bank PO Exam. If you have completed a graduation degree, regardless of the stream, you can appear for the IBPS Bank PO Exam. I hope that solves your confusion.


Institute of Banking Personnel Services is responsible for conducting Bank PO exam on the annual basis. The exam has been concluded for this year and if you want to appear for it, wait till next year June when it will take place.


After clearing the IBPS Bank PO Exam, you can apply for job in 19 Public Sector Banks. It would depend on the vacancy in the bank. You will have to take your exam score when called for the interview to get selected for the job.


The 19 PSU Banks who accept IBPS Bank PO Score are:-

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts the common Written Examination as a qualifying exam for jobs is 19 public sector banks in India. The PO exam is conducted for Probationary Officer/Management Trainee posts.

However, beside the exam score, the candidates need to meet certain eligibility criteria. These criteria cover age limitations, nationality, and education qualifications.

Eligibility Criteria ( as on 1st July in the year of examination )

Nationality : Should be a citizen of India

Age : Minimum 20 years, maximum 30 years

The maximum age limit specified is applicable to General Category Candidates

Relaxation of Upper age limit

SC/ST candidates - 5 years

OBC Candidates - 3 years

PWD candidates - 10 years

Educational Qualifications : Candidates should have a degree in any discipline from any recognized university or equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government

IBPS is a Common Written Examination for the for selection of personnel for posts in the Public Sector Banks.
Eligibility for IBPS PO exam:--
Graduate from a recognized university or post-graduate from a recognizeduniversity.
Age Limit for IBPS PO Exam:--
Age minimum 21 years & maximum 30 years. Paper I is objective and There are five subject 1. Reasoning ability 2. Mathematical ability 3. General English 4. Computer and marketing 5. General awareness . Each having 50 marks for 50 question but only general english is having 25 marks for 50 questions. Paper II is descriptive of english language and in its essay, precis, letter 25 marks . Time for Paper I is 150minut and Paper II IS 60 minut.

You have to doesn't confused on it.you have to only complete your graduation from the recognized university only and your age between

for po- 21 to 28 years
for clerk 20 to 28 years

You have to just clear the entrance exam or a interview then you have got a job.

No percentage of marks required in Graduation for IBPS P.O. Exam.

IBPS - Institute of Banking Personal Selection conducts P.O. exam for 19 Public Sector banks.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed Graduation Degree in any stream of education from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.

No" Percentage of marks required for IBPS PO Entrance Examination ,,

The candidate who having Graduation course in any discipline with Pass Marks are applicable to apply for IBPS Entrance Examination ..

But here you didn't Mention your educational qualification as well ,,,,

So,, If your Complete Graduation with Pass Mark then your applicable for IBPS PO Entrance Examination ...

And you should Ensure that you should have any backlogs n your Bachelor degree course then Only your applicable for IBPS PO Entrance Examination ..

Even the candidate who Complete Master degree course may also eligible to apply for this Entrance Examination ..

IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. The Common Written Examination that they conducts is for several posts like Clerical Cadres, Probationary Officers/Management Trainees, Specialist Officers etc. 20 public sector banks participates in this one and you will get a chance to apply in any one of these once you successfully crack the exam.

IBPS PO Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

## You should be a citizen of India.

## You need to have a degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.

## You need to know how to handle a computer. Get a certificate on computer operation from a private institution or if you have studied computer science at graduation level or had computer application as one of your compulsory subject at 10+2 level then dont bother.

## You will get to apply only in one state from this year which means you need to have the fluency to speak and write in the local language of that State.

## Age Criteria:-

1. Minimum Age Limit:- 21 years
2. Maximum Age Limit:- 30 years

## There is age relaxation for the reserved category candidates:-
  • Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe - 5 years
  • Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) - 3 years
  • Persons With Disabilities – 10 years

## Examination Pattern:-

The CWE exam comprises of two parts:
  • Objective Paper
  • Descriptive Paper

The total time limit for objective paper is 150 minutes and 250 marks have been allotted for this paper. You will have to answer same number of questions. For the objective test stress on the following areas:-

-Reasoning
-English Language
-Quantitative Aptitude
-General Awareness
-Computer Knowledge

If you pass in the qualifying marks in each of the objective test only then your descriptive paper will be checked. 60 minutes have been allotted for this exam and questions will come from Essay, Précis, Letter Writing etc.

NO percentage required. Third degree in graduation person can also apply. Bank PO exam are held by various banking organisation like IBPS, SBI, RBi and other private banking sector too. But its very necessary to choose best bank PO coaching Jaipur to get select in first attempt. Hello,
There is no percentage required to apply for IBPS PO.if you are graduate you can apply for IBPS PO exam.
However, it is advised to candidates to check their eligibility for IBPS exam before applying for it. there are other eligibility criteria like age limit, educational qualification, and nationality. if it is found at any stage that candidate does not fulfill the eligibility, their candidature can be canceled.
